Easy Sunday Mediterranean Style Family Pizza

  • 1 Brumby’s Pesto and Cheese Turkish Bread

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 red onion (finely sliced)

  • 1 punnet medley cherry tomatoes

  • 2 cloves garlic (diced)

  • 1 zucchini (thinly sliced)

  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce

  • Handful fresh basil levels

  • 1 x mozzarella ball

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Step 1:

    Preheat the oven to 230 degrees celsius.

  • Step 2:

    Place your Turkish bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

  • Step 3:

    Fully cover the Turkish bread with pizza sauce.

  • Step 4:

    In a medium pan over medium heat add oil. Once the oil is hot, add your sliced onion and cook 2 minutes. Then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Step 5:

    Add the punnet of whole cherry tomatoes, and cook for a further 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper and set aside.

  • Step 6:

    Sprinkle the base of the Turkish bread with the cheese, then layer with the zucchini and pour the cherry tomato mixture on top. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil, salt and pepper, and finally place your mozzarella ball in the centre of the pizzas.

  • Step 7:

    Place the pizzas on a baking tray and place in your pre-heated oven. Cook for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden, and the base is crispy.

  • Step 8:

    Serve hot and enjoy with the family!
