Do Brumby's guarantee that their products only contain the stated ingredients?
Brumby's cannot guarantee there will not be traces of any ingredient in any product due to the scratch-method of baking employed in our bakeries, as all products are prepared using the same equipment and thus there is a risk of cross contamination.
Do Brumby's breads contain preservatives?
Brumby's believes that the use of artificial preservatives should be minimised, so unlike some other bread manufacturers, we do not use any preservatives* in our bread dough. Essentially preservatives 282 and 223 (which have been linked to behaviourial problems in children and adverse reactions in asthmatics respectively) are not found in our breads.

Brumby's bakeries use a method of baking known at 'scratch' baking. All bread products are baked 'from scratch' on site, so they are fresh to you everyday.
Do Brumby's offer gluten free, yeast free or nut free products?
Brumby's do not offer gluten free, yeast free or nut free products as all are prepared using the same equipment and thus there is a risk of cross contamination with products containing these ingredients.
Do Brumby's use genetically modified ingredients?
Brumby's undertakes that all of its suppliers of ingredients only supply ingredients that are not genetically modified.
Do Brumby's make pies, pasties and sausage rolls on site?
Brumby's has exclusive suppliers of these products, which are specially formulated to Brumby's high standards.
Do Brumby's products attract GST?
Not all Brumby's products attract GST. Generally most products with toppings will attract GST however a large portion of our standard breads are GST free. Ask our helpful sales team with specific product queries.
Brumby's Bakeries is an Australian owned company; do they use Australian ingredients?
Wherever possible Brumby's purchases Australian ingredients to support Australian industries however, some products are imported due to availability.
