Our Training

Brumby's Bakeries believes that people are our greatest asset, so ensuring our people are trained in all aspects of bakery practices is a high priority. This is why we have called our training programs - Bread 4 Success. We have training programs for new franchisees, retail and bakery team members.

Our training programs are designed to develop all members of a bakery, with both accredited national qualifications, which are customised to Brumby's practices and non-accredited sessions focussing on developing staff skills particularly in retail skills.

As a new franchisee, you will undertake a three-month training program, which covers all aspects of baking and retail operations. Topics include staff management, customer relationship management, food preparation techniques and stock and cost control.

Career paths in bakery management are available within the Brumby's franchise network. Retail and bakery team members can undertake qualifications in retail operations and baking and progress within a bakery to become the store manager or head baker.
